Understanding Review Scores
Each review score on our platform is given on a scale of 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we add up all the review scores and divide that total by the number of reviews received. Guests have the opportunity to provide separate ratings in important categories such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that these individual ratings are independent of the overall score, with no direct link between them.
Writing Reviews
As a guest, you can submit a review for an accommodation you booked through our platform, whether you actually stayed there or simply visited the property. If you need to edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team, and they’ll be happy to assist you.
Dealing with Fake Reviews
At DHPL Travels, we have a dedicated team of experts and automated systems that specialize in detecting and removing fake reviews from our platform. If we come across any suspicious content, we promptly delete it and take appropriate action against the responsible parties. We encourage our users to report any fraudulent activity they encounter to our Customer Service team, so our fraud team can thoroughly investigate.
Review Guidelines and Content Moderation
We value both positive and negative feedback and strive to publish every review we receive. However, to maintain the quality and relevance of the content displayed, we have certain guidelines in place. We will not display reviews containing or referring to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, or impersonation. Any violation of our review guidelines will also result in non-publication.
To ensure that reviews remain relevant, we generally accept submissions made within 3 months of the guest checking out. Reviews may no longer be displayed once they are 36 months old or if the property has undergone a change of ownership.
Accommodation Responses
Accommodations have the option to reply to reviews they receive on our platform. This creates an open line of communication between guests and property owners, enabling them to address concerns or express gratitude.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When multiple reviews are available for a particular accommodation, the most recent ones will be displayed at the top. However, several factors may influence the order of reviews, including language and whether the review contains comments in addition to a rating. You have the ability to sort and filter reviews by time of year, review score, and more.
External Review Scores
Occasionally, we may display external review scores from well-known travel websites. However, we always make it clear when we include such scores in our listings.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
At DHPL Travels, we strive to maintain high standards for reviews. Our guidelines ensure that the content on our platform remains relevant and family-friendly, while still allowing for diverse opinions. The guidelines apply to all comments, regardless of their tone.

Contributions should focus on travel-related topics and provide detailed insights to help others make informed decisions. Personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary should be avoided. Promotional content will be removed, and any issues concerning our services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.

Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience and should refrain from profanity or attempts to substitute profanity with creative spelling in any language. Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit comments, violence, and the promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

All content should be original and unbiased, reflecting the opinions and experiences of the guest. We do not tolerate property partners posting on behalf of guests or offering incentives in exchange for reviews. Negative reviews submitted with the intention of defaming competitors will not be tolerated.

We respect the privacy of all our users. Therefore, personal information, including email addresses, phone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details, will be obscured by default.

The opinions expressed in reviews are those of DHPL Travels customers and properties, and not of DHPL Travels itself. We do not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Additionally, DHPL Travels acts as a distributor and not a publisher of these comments and responses, meaning we have no obligation to verify their accuracy.
By default, reviews are sorted based on their submission date and other relevant criteria, such as language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available, allowing you to sort reviews by the type of traveler or by score, among other factors.
