Each review rating ranges from 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we sum up all the review ratings and divide the total by the number of reviews received. Guests have the opportunity to provide separate ratings for crucial aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. These ratings are submitted independently without a direct correlation to the overall score.
To write a review for an accommodation booked through our platform, guests must have either stayed at the property or visited it without actually staying. If you wish to edit a review you have already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
Our platform employs both human reviewers and automated systems to detect and remove fake reviews. Any identified fake reviews will be promptly deleted, and appropriate action will be taken against the responsible individual. If you come across any suspicious content, please report it to our Customer Service team for investigation by our fraud prevention team.
In an ideal scenario, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, there are certain criteria that may result in the non-display of a review. These criteria include the presence or reference to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (e.g., emails, phone numbers, credit card details), profanity, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam and fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, and any violation of our review guidelines.
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we may only accept submissions within three months from the checkout date. Reviews may cease to be displayed after 36 months or if the accommodation undergoes a change of ownership.
Accommodations have the ability to respond to reviews.
When multiple reviews are available, the most recent ones will appear at the top, considering other factors such as language, whether the review includes comments along with ratings, and more. You have the option to sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and other criteria.
We occasionally display external review scores from well-known travel websites. When doing so, we clearly indicate the source.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards are designed to maintain relevant and family-friendly content on DHPL Travels while also encouraging the expression of opinions. They apply regardless of the tone of the comments.
Contributions should pertain to travel. The most helpful contributions are detailed and assist others in making informed decisions. Please avoid personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed, and any concerns regarding DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be suitable for a global audience. Please refrain from using profanity or attempting to bypass filters with creative spelling. Comments and media containing hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
All content should be authentic and unique to the guest. Reviews hold the most value when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should reflect your personal experience. Property partners of DHPL Travels are not allowed to post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Any attempt to undermine the reputation of a competitor through negative reviews will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. DHPL Travels will make every effort to conceal email addresses, phone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar personal details.
The opinions expressed in contributions belong to DHPL Travels’ customers and properties, and not to DHPL Travels itself. DHPL Travels does not assume any responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. DHPL Travels acts as a distributor of these comments and responses and does not undertake any obligation to verify their accuracy.
By default, reviews are sorted by the review date and additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, such as the traveler’s language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. You may have additional sorting options available based on traveler type or review score.
