How Review Scores Work
At DHPL Travels, each review score ranges from 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score of an accommodation, we combine all the review scores and divide the total by the number of reviews received. Additionally, guests have the option to provide separate subscores for essential aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. These subscores and the overall score are independent of each other and are submitted by the guests.
Maintaining the trust and integrity of our review system is of utmost importance to us. We have a dedicated team, as well as automated systems, that specialize in detecting any fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any suspicious activity, we promptly take action by deleting the fraudulent reviews and, if necessary, against those responsible. We encourage our users to report any suspicious content they come across to our Customer Service team, enabling us to investigate further.
We believe in providing a fair and balanced representation of travelers’ experiences. While we strive to publish every review we receive, both positive and negative, there are a few instances where reviews may not be displayed. These include reviews that contain politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, or impersonation.
Keeping Reviews Relevant
To ensure that reviews remain relevant and up-to-date, we have a policy where we accept reviews submitted within 3 months of checking out. Reviews that are older than 36 months may no longer be displayed. Additionally, if an accommodation undergoes a change of ownership, we may stop showing the previous reviews.
At DHPL Travels, we value open communication between guests and accommodations. Accommodations have the option to respond to reviews, providing additional insights or addressing any concerns raised by guests.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When browsing through multiple reviews, we prioritize the most recent ones. However, other factors such as language, whether the review contains comments or just a rating, and more may also influence the sorting order. To further personalize your search, you can sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and other criteria.

To ensure that the content on DHPL Travels remains relevant and family-friendly, we have established guidelines and standards for reviews. These guidelines apply to all reviews on our platform, regardless of the comment’s tone. Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
- Contributions should be travel-related, providing helpful and detailed information that aids other travelers in making better decisions.
- We encourage you to refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Any issues concerning DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
- Contributions should be suitable for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempting to substitute it with creative spelling in any language. We do not permit comments or media containing hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities.
- Authenticity is crucial. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should reflect your genuine experience. Accommodation partners of DHPL Travels should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate attempts to manipulate ratings by submitting negative reviews about competitors.
- Respect the privacy of others. To protect everyone’s privacy, we make an effort to obfuscate email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
- The opinions expressed in reviews belong to the customers and properties themselves, not DHPL Travels. Accordingly, DHPL Travels does not accept any responsibility or liability for the content of reviews or responses. We act as a distributor, not a publisher, of these comments and responses, without any obligation to verify their accuracy.
- By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review, with additional criteria considered to display the most relevant reviews. You may find additional sorting options available, such as sorting by the type of traveler or by score.
