Understanding Review Scores
Each review score at Villa Vista Mirissa falls between 1 and 10. To calculate the overall score, we sum up all the individual review scores and divide that total by the number of reviews received. Guests have the option to provide separate ratings in key areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that the individual subscores and the overall score are submitted independently and are not directly linked.
Writing a Review
If you have booked accommodation through our platform and either stayed there or visited the property, you can submit a review. If you need to edit a review you have already submitted, simply reach out to our Customer Service team for assistance.
Combating Fake Reviews
We have a dedicated team of experts and automated systems that specialize in detecting and eliminating fake reviews from our platform. If any suspicious activity is encountered, we take immediate action by deleting the fake reviews and addressing the responsible party accordingly. We encourage our users to report any suspicious reviews to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can thoroughly investigate.
At Villa Vista Mirissa, we strive to publish all reviews, whether positive or negative. However, there are certain criteria we follow to ensure the integrity and relevance of the reviews. Reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card information), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines will not be displayed.
To maintain relevancy, we generally accept reviews submitted within 3 months of checking out. Reviews that are older than 36 months or pertain to accommodations that have changed ownership may no longer be displayed.
At Villa Vista Mirissa, accommodations have the opportunity to respond to reviews provided by guests.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When browsing multiple reviews, the most recent ones will appear at the top, taking into account factors such as language and whether the review contains comments or is solely a rating. Furthermore, you have the option to sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and other criteria.

Occasionally, we may showcase external review scores from reputable travel websites. Rest assured that we will make it clear when such scores are displayed.

Property partners of Villa Vista Mirissa are not allowed to post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We prioritize the privacy of others. Therefore, email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details will be obscured by Booking.com.
