Each review rating ranges from 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we add up all the review ratings and divide that total by the number of reviews received. Guests have the option to provide separate scores for important aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. These subscores and the overall scores are submitted independently without a direct link between them.
If you have stayed at an accommodation booked through our platform or have visited the property even if you didn’t stay there, you are eligible to leave a review. To make changes to a review you have already submitted, please get in touch with our Customer Service team.
We have dedicated people and automated systems that specialize in detecting and removing fake reviews from our platform. If any fake reviews are identified, they will be deleted, and appropriate action will be taken against the responsible party.
If you come across anything suspicious, please report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate further.
In an ideal scenario, we would publish all reviews, both positive and negative. However, we do not display reviews that include or reference politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam or fake content, animal cruelty, or impersonation (claiming to be someone else). Any violation of our review guidelines is not tolerated.
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we may only accept reviews submitted within 3 months of checking out. Reviews older than 36 months may no longer be displayed, or if the accommodation has undergone a change in ownership.
Accommodations have the option to respond to reviews.
When browsing through multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be displayed at the top, taking into account factors like language and whether it is solely a rating or includes comments as well. You can sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes, we may display external review scores from well-known travel websites, but we will clearly indicate when this is the case.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards are in place to maintain relevant and family-friendly content on DHPL Travels, without restricting expression or strong opinions. They apply regardless of the comment’s tone.

Contributions should be travel-related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and aid others in making informed decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed, and any issues regarding DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.

Contributions should be suitable for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempting to mask profanity with creative spelling in any language. Comments and media that contain hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or promote illegal activities are not allowed.

All content should be authentic and unique to the guest. Reviews hold the most value when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be your personal experience. Property partners of DHPL Travels are not allowed to post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Negative reviews submitted with the intention of harming a competitor’s rating will not be tolerated.

Respect the privacy of others. DHPL Travels is committed to protecting personal information. We will make every effort to obscure email addresses, phone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and any similar details.

We act as a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not as a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews. These criteria include language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available based on the type of traveler or review score.
