How Review Scores are Calculated
At Villa Ocean Dew, we value our guests’ feedback and strive to provide a transparent review system. Each review score is rated on a scale of 1 to 10. To determine the overall score, we calculate the average of all review scores submitted. Guests have the opportunity to provide individual subscores for important aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that subscores and overall scores are submitted independently and are not directly linked.
Submitting and Editing Reviews
If you have booked an accommodation through our platform and stayed there, or even if you visited the property without staying, you can leave a review. If you need to make changes to a review you’ve already submitted, simply reach out to our Customer Service team, and they will be happy to assist you.
Detecting and Handling Fake Reviews
To ensure the authenticity of our reviews, we have a dedicated team of experts and automated systems in place. If we come across any fake reviews, we promptly delete them and take appropriate action against the responsible party. If you notice any suspicious content, please report it to our Customer Service team, and our fraud team will thoroughly investigate the matter.
Our goal is to publish all reviews, regardless of their sentiment. However, there are certain types of content that we cannot display. These include politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, references to violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, and impersonation. We take violations of our review guidelines seriously to maintain the integrity of our platform.
Review Timeframe and Display
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we only accept submissions within 3 months of checking out. Additionally, reviews may be removed once they are 36 months old or if the property undergoes a change of ownership. Accommodations have the opportunity to reply to reviews, fostering open communication between guests and hosts.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When multiple reviews are available, we prioritize displaying the most recent ones at the top. However, factors such as language and whether the review contains comments or only a rating may influence the order. To assist you in finding the most helpful reviews, we offer sorting and filtering options based on the time of year, review score, and more.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
At Villa Ocean Dew, we have established guidelines and standards to ensure the content on our platform remains relevant and family-friendly, while also allowing for diverse opinions. We encourage detailed contributions that assist other travelers in making informed decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Any issues related to Booking.com’s services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.

We strive to create an inclusive environment for our global audience. We kindly request that you avoid using profanity or attempting to bypass language filters with creative spelling. Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit language, violence, and the promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited in comments and media.

We believe that the most valuable reviews are those that are authentic and unbiased. Your contribution should reflect your personal experience and be original in nature. As part of our commitment to fair practices, property partners associated with Villa Ocean Dew are not allowed to post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate any attempts to manipulate ratings by submitting negative reviews about competitors.
At Villa Ocean Dew, we prioritize the privacy of our guests. Therefore, we take measures to conceal personal information, such as email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
