Each review score ranges from 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we add up all the review scores and divide by the total number of reviews received. Guests can also provide separate subscores in important areas such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. These subscores and the overall scores are submitted independently, without any direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform, whether you stayed there or just visited the property. If you need to edit a review you have already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have dedicated people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we identify any suspicious reviews, we promptly delete them and take appropriate action against the responsible parties.
If you come across anything that seems suspicious, please report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would like to publish every review we receive, both positive and negative. However, we will not display reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card information), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation (claiming to be someone else), or any violation of our review guidelines.
To ensure the relevancy of reviews, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months after checking out. After 36 months or a change of ownership of the accommodation, we may stop displaying older reviews.
Accommodations have the option to respond to reviews.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be displayed at the top, taking into consideration other factors such as language and whether the review only contains a rating or also includes comments. You can sort and filter the reviews by various criteria, such as time of year and review score.
Sometimes we may display external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but we will always clearly indicate when we do so.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards are designed to maintain relevant and family-friendly content on DHPL Travels, while allowing for freedom of expression and diverse opinions. They apply to all comments, regardless of their tone.
Contributions should be travel-related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and assist others in making informed decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed, and any issues regarding DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be suitable for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or creative spelling to approximate profanity in any language. Comments and media that contain hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should reflect your own experience. Accommodation partners of DHPL Travels should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Negative reviews submitted with the intent to harm the reputation of a competitor will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. DHPL Travels will make every effort to protect the privacy of individuals by obscuring email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of DHPL Travels’ customers and properties, and not of DHPL Travels itself. DHPL Travels does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. DHPL Travels operates as a distributor and is not a publisher of these comments and responses, with no obligation to verify them.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and other criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including language, reviews with comments, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available, such as by type of traveler or by score.
