At Villa Amma Erna, we use a rating system where guests can provide a score between 1 and 10 for various aspects of their stay. To calculate the overall score, we add up all the individual scores and divide that total by the number of reviews received. Guests have the option to rate specific areas such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi separately. It’s important to note that these subscores and the overall score are independent of each other – there is no direct correlation between them.
Submitting Reviews and Editing
If you have booked accommodation through our platform and have either stayed there or visited the property, you are eligible to write a review. In case you wish to make changes to a review you have already submitted, please get in touch with our Customer Service team, and they will assist you accordingly.
Fraud Detection and Reporting
We have a dedicated team of experts and automated systems that specialize in identifying and flagging fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we come across any suspicious reviews, we promptly remove them and take appropriate action against the responsible parties. We encourage our users to report any suspicious activity to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can thoroughly investigate the matter.
Review Guidelines and Content Restrictions
While we strive to publish a balanced mix of positive and negative reviews, there are certain types of content that we cannot display. These include politically sensitive comments, promotional content, references to illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, and any violations of our review guidelines.
Timeliness and Display of Reviews
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we generally accept submissions within 3 months of checking out. We may cease displaying reviews that are older than 36 months or if the property undergoes a change of ownership. Please note that accommodations can respond to reviews.
