One of the most popular hotels for those headed to Universal Studios Orlando is the Universal Endless Summer Resort, and there’s a reason why, you and your family/group can stay close to the action and because this hotel offers the ever popular Universal Endless Summer Resort 2 Bedroom Suite which comes in a number of different configurations depending on what you prefer.
Universal’s Endless Summer Resort offers two different hotels. Both are located at Universal Orlando Resort but offer slighly different themes:
- Dockside Inn and Suites – Dockside Inn and Suites is like staying at a cool, calm coastal retreat
- Surfside Inn and Suites – Surfside Inn and Suites features a surf and beach theme
Both hotels offer two-bedrooms suites that sleep up to 6 people and both normally offer a bonus of Early Park Admission so you and your family can enter Universal Studios up to 1 hour before park opening! Note that you’ll still need valid theme park admission.
Both hotels have resort-style pools and kids’ splash pad areas that are accessible throughout your stay. You’ll also love the Universal Studios Store and arcade game rooms (closes at 11pm).

What’s in the Endless Summer 2 Bedroom Suite?
If you’re staying at Universal Studios for two days or more we’d recommend the Endless Summer 2 Bedroom Suite. It’s 440 square feet in size with two separate bedrooms each with either 1 or 2 queen beds. This suite sleeps up to 6 people.
The 2-bedroom suite includes a 43-inch flat-screen TV and a 49-inch flat-screen TV. A small kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave. A picnic table are positioned in between the two bedrooms creating a sort of common eating/hang-out area. There’s one bathroom (to be honest I would have liked two bathrooms) and it includes a hairdryer and basic toiletries.
Facilities in the suite are fairly standard from A/C and a safe to an alarm clock but sadly what I find most useful when traveling was missing: a tea kettle-I need my tea! If you’re like me don’t forget to pack a tea kettle.
Your Magic Hotel Key Card
When you check-in at Staying at Universal Endless Summer Resort you’ll be given a key card, but unlike most other hotels your key card will do far more than just unlock your hotel room door. You’ll have resort-wide charging privileges using your room key card and you can also use your key card for complimentary access to select live entertainment venues at Universal CityWalk.
Universal Endless Summer Resort
Overall, Universal Endless Summer Resort is great for families who want to stay near Universal Studios. The hotel is very clean, offers quick elevators (important after long days at theme parks), and the rooms/suites are well designed and fairly priced. The theme park shuttle service to and from Universal Uber pick up point is essential and who doesn’t love that hotel towels are available for Volcano Bay, should you go. Unfortunately there is no airport shuttle.
Check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 11am.
