Understanding Review Scores and Subscores
When it comes to reviewing accommodations on our platform, each review score falls between 1 and 10. To calculate the overall score, we tally up all the review scores and divide the total by the number of reviews received. In addition to the overall score, guests have the option to provide separate subscores for important categories such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that subscores and overall scores are submitted independently and do not have a direct link.
Submitting Reviews and Editing
As a guest, you have the opportunity to review an accommodation you booked through our platform, whether you stayed there or simply visited the property. If you need to make changes to a review you’ve already submitted, please reach out to our Customer Service team for assistance.
Detecting and Handling Fake Reviews
At DHPL Travels, we have a team of both people and automated systems dedicated to detecting any fraudulent reviews submitted to our platform. If we identify any fake reviews, we promptly delete them and take appropriate action against the responsible party. We encourage all our users to report any suspicious reviews they come across so that our fraud team can thoroughly investigate.
Review Guidelines and Content Restrictions
While our goal is to publish every review we receive, both positive and negative, we do have some guidelines in place. In order to maintain the integrity and relevance of our reviews, we refrain from displaying any content that includes or refers to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.
Timeliness and Display of Reviews
To ensure that our reviews remain current and helpful, we generally accept reviews submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop displaying reviews once they reach 36 months old or if the accommodation undergoes a change of ownership. When multiple reviews are available, the most recent ones will appear at the top, taking into consideration various factors such as language and whether the review includes comments or only a rating. You also have the ability to sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and other criteria.

At DHPL Travels, we have established guidelines and standards to ensure that the content on our platform remains relevant and suitable for a global audience. These guidelines apply to all comments, regardless of their tone. We kindly ask that contributions focus on travel-related topics and provide detailed insights to help fellow travelers make informed decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Additionally, any form of hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or promotion of illegal activities is strictly prohibited. We value genuine and unbiased content that represents your own experiences. As such, property partners of Booking.com are not permitted to post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Lastly, we ask that you respect the privacy of others by refraining from sharing email addresses, phone numbers, website links, social media accounts, or similar personal details.
