Understanding Review Scores and Subscores
At DHPL Travels, we strive to provide you with the most accurate and helpful information about accommodations. When it comes to review scores, we take various factors into account. Each review score ranges from 1 to 10, and the overall score is calculated by adding up all the review scores and dividing that total by the number of reviews received.
Guests have the option to provide separate subscores in important areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that these subscores are submitted independently, and there is no direct link between them and the overall score.
Leaving Reviews and Making Edits
We value your feedback, and we encourage you to review the accommodations that you have booked through our platform. Whether you stayed at the property or visited it but didn’t actually stay there, your review is valuable to us. If you ever need to edit a review that you have already submitted, simply get in touch with our Customer Service team, and they will assist you.
Fighting Against Fake Reviews
Maintaining the trust and credibility of our platform is paramount to us. That’s why we have a dedicated team, as well as automated systems, that specialize in detecting any fake reviews that are submitted. If we identify any fraudulent reviews, they are promptly deleted, and appropriate action is taken against the responsible parties. We also appreciate it when our users help us by reporting any suspicious activities to our Customer Service team, so that our fraud team can further investigate.
Review Guidelines for Publication
At DHPL Travels, we value transparency and authenticity. While we aim to publish both positive and negative reviews, there are certain guidelines that we adhere to. We will not display reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, or impersonation. Additionally, any violation of our review guidelines will result in the review not being published.
Timeliness and Relevance of Reviews
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we only accept submissions that are within 3 months of checking out. We may stop displaying reviews that are older than 36 months or in cases where the accommodation has undergone a change of ownership.

When you browse through multiple reviews, the most recent ones will appear at the top. In some cases, we may provide external review scores from other reputable travel websites. Rest assured that when we display such scores, we make it clear that they are from external sources.

- Property partners affiliated with DHPL Travels should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews.
- Negative reviews submitted by competitors with the intention to harm the ratings of other accommodations will not be tolerated.
- Respecting the privacy of others is of utmost importance to us, and we will take measures to hide personal details such as email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, and social media accounts.
