Our review system is based on a scale of 1 to 10, with separate subscores in important areas such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that guests submit their subscores and overall score independently, with no direct link between them.
To maintain the integrity of our platform, we have a dedicated team and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews. If we come across any suspicious reviews, we promptly delete them and take appropriate action against the responsible parties. We encourage our users to report any suspicious activity to our Customer Service team, so our fraud team can further investigate.
We aim to publish all reviews, both positive and negative, to offer a comprehensive perspective. However, there are certain criteria we adhere to when determining whether a review should be displayed. Reviews that include politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines will not be displayed.
To ensure relevance, we accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews that are 36 months old or in cases where the accommodation has a change of ownership.
Reply and Sorting Options
Accommodations have the ability to reply to reviews, allowing for open communication between guests and property owners. When viewing multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be displayed at the top, taking into consideration various factors such as language, comments, and rating. We offer sorting and filtering options, allowing users to arrange reviews by time of year, review score, and more, for a personalized experience.
Review Guidelines and Standards
At DHPL Travels, we have established strict guidelines and standards to ensure that our content remains relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. We expect contributions to be travel-related, informative, and helpful to fellow travelers. Personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary should be omitted, and promotional content will be removed. We also request that contributors respect a global audience by refraining from using profanity, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit language, violence, or promoting illegal activities.
Authenticity and Privacy
We value genuine and unique reviews that are unbiased and reflect the experiences of our guests. Reviews should be original and not influenced by incentives or posted by property partners on behalf of guests. We do not tolerate negative reviews submitted solely to harm competitors. In an effort to protect privacy, Booking.com will make every effort to obscure personal details such as email addresses, phone numbers, website addresses, and social media accounts.
