Understanding Review Scores and Subscores
When it comes to reviewing accommodations on our platform, each review score ranges from 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we aggregate all the review scores and divide that total by the number of review scores received. Not only can guests provide an overall score, but they can also give subscores in essential categories such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, meaning there is no direct connection between them.
Submitting a Review
If you have booked an accommodation through our platform, you have the opportunity to review it. This applies whether you actually stayed at the property or simply visited it. If you need to edit a review you’ve already submitted, our Customer Service team is here to assist you.
Detecting and Addressing Fake Reviews
At DHPL Travels, we take the authenticity of our reviews seriously. To ensure a trustworthy platform, we have both people and automated systems dedicated to detecting and removing fake reviews. If we find any fake reviews, we promptly delete them and, if necessary, take appropriate action against the responsible parties. If you come across any suspicious content, please report it to our Customer Service team. Our fraud team will thoroughly investigate your report.
Review Guidelines and Content Standards
Our aim at DHPL Travels is to provide relevant and family-friendly content while allowing for free expression and diverse opinions. To accomplish this, we have established guidelines and standards for reviews:
Content Relevance
- Contributions should focus on travel-related experiences.
- The most helpful reviews are detailed and assist other travelers in making informed decisions.
- Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary.
- Promotional content will be removed.
- For concerns regarding DHPL Travels’ services, please contact our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Global Audience
- Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience.
- Please avoid the use of profanity or attempts to circumvent profanity filters with creative spellings.
- Comments and media should not contain hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities.
Genuine and Unique Contributions
- All content should be original and unbiased.
- Reviews are most valuable when they are genuine and reflect the personal experiences of the guest.
- Property partners affiliated with DHPL Travels must not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews.
- DHPL Travels does not tolerate negative reviews submitted with the intention of damaging a competitor’s reputation.
Respecting Privacy
- Please respect the privacy of others.
- DHPL Travels will make an effort to conceal email addresses, phone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
Ownership and Liability
- The opinions expressed in reviews belong to DHPL Travels’ customers and properties, not DHPL Travels itself.
- DHPL Travels does not assume responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses.
- As a distributor, DHPL Travels shares customer reviews without verifying their accuracy. DHPL Travels is not a publisher of these comments and responses.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When multiple reviews are available, the most recent ones appear at the top, taking into account various factors such as language and whether the review contains comments or is solely a rating. You have the option to sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and more.
