At Sunset Forest Villa, we value guest feedback and use it to provide an overall score for our accommodations. Each review score is rated on a scale of 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we aggregate all the review scores and divide the total by the number of review scores received. Guests have the opportunity to provide separate subscores in key areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that subscores and overall scores are submitted independently, with no direct link between them.
Reviewing Accommodations
If you’ve booked an accommodation through our platform and either stayed there or visited the property, you can review it. If you need to edit a review you’ve already submitted, simply reach out to our Customer Service team, and they will assist you.
Detecting and Addressing Fake Reviews
To ensure the integrity of our platform, we have dedicated individuals and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews. If we identify any fraudulent activity, we promptly delete the reviews and take appropriate action against those responsible. We encourage our guests to report any suspicious content to our Customer Service team, so our fraud team can conduct a thorough investigation.
Review Guidelines
At Sunset Forest Villa, we believe in transparency and aim to publish all reviews we receive, both positive and negative. However, we do have guidelines in place to maintain a respectful and safe environment. Therefore, we will not display reviews that include or refer to the following:
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g., emails, phone numbers, credit card details)
- Offensive language, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or violence
- Spam or fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation of another individual
- Any violation of our review guidelines
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we only accept submissions within 3 months of checking out. Reviews may be discontinued after 36 months or if there is a change of ownership. We encourage accommodations to respond to reviews as well.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When multiple reviews are available, we prioritize displaying the most recent ones at the top. However, other factors such as language and the inclusion of comments may also influence the order. You have the option to sort and filter reviews by time of year, review score, and other criteria.
External Review Scores
Occasionally, we may display external review scores from well-known travel websites. Rest assured that when we do, we clearly indicate the source of the information.

At Sunset Forest Villa, we maintain high standards for our reviews. Our guidelines ensure that the content on our platform remains relevant, family-friendly, and open to different opinions. These guidelines are applicable regardless of the tone of the comment.
- Contributions should be travel-related. We value detailed and informative reviews that help fellow travelers make informed decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Any content promoting or involving Booking.com’s services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
- Contributions should be suitable for a global audience. We kindly request that you avoid using profanity or attempting to bypass language filters with creative spelling. Comments and media containing hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
- All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. We value original and unbiased reviews. Property partners affiliated with Booking.com should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We strictly prohibit any attempts to manipulate the rating of competitors through negative reviews.
- Respect the privacy of others. At Sunset Forest Villa, we prioritize protecting personal information. Therefore, we make every effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
- Opinions expressed in contributions belong to our customers and properties. They do not represent the views of Booking.com. Booking.com assumes no responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. As a distributor, we are not involved in verifying the content but act as a platform for users to share their opinions.
- Reviews are primarily sorted by the date of submission and other relevant criteria. These criteria include language, the presence of text in the reviews, and whether the reviews are anonymous. Additional sorting options might be available, such as sorting by traveler type or score.
