Understanding Review Scores
Guests who book accommodations through our platform have the opportunity to provide review scores for their stay. Each review score is on a scale of 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we add up all the review scores and divide that total by the number of reviews received. Guests can also give separate subscores in important areas such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that there is no direct link between the subscores and the overall score; guests submit them independently.
If you have stayed at an accommodation booked through our platform, you can leave a review. Even if you didn’t actually stay at the property, but visited it, you can still share your experience. If you need to edit a review that you have already submitted, please reach out to our Customer Service team for assistance.
Fighting Against Fake Reviews
At DHPL Travels, we have dedicated individuals and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. Should we discover any fraudulent reviews, we delete them and take appropriate action against the responsible parties. We encourage anyone who notices suspicious activity to report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate further.
Review Display Guidelines
While it would be ideal to publish every review we receive, both positive and negative, there are certain criteria that must be met. We do not display reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card information), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam or fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.
Review Relevance and Display Duration
To ensure that reviews remain relevant, we may only accept reviews submitted within 3 months of check-out. Additionally, we may stop displaying reviews that are 36 months old or older, or if the accommodation undergoes a change in ownership.
Accommodation Responses to Reviews
Accommodations have the ability to respond to reviews left by guests. This allows them to address any feedback or concerns shared by guests.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When viewing multiple reviews, the most recent ones are displayed at the top. However, other factors such as language or whether the review contains additional comments may influence the sorting order. Guests have the option to sort and/or filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and other criteria.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
DHPL Travels is committed to maintaining relevant and family-friendly content on our platform. We value freedom of expression and diverse opinions, so our guidelines and standards aim to strike a balance. Contributions should be travel-related and offer detailed insights that help others make informed decisions. We kindly request that you refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Any promotional content will be removed, and any concerns about DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
A Global Audience
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. We kindly ask that you avoid the use of profanity and any attempts to circumvent profanity filters with creative spelling, regardless of the language used. Comments or media that contain hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit language, violence, or promote illegal activities will not be permitted.
Genuine and Unique Contributions
We believe that reviews hold the most value when they are original and unbiased. We encourage you to share your genuine experiences and opinions. As for DHPL Travels’ property partners, they should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate negative reviews submitted with the intention to harm the reputation of a competitor.
Respecting the privacy of others is of utmost importance to us. We make every effort to conceal personal details such as email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar information.

The opinions expressed in guest contributions and reviews belong solely to the guests and do not necessarily reflect the views of DHPL Travels. DHPL Travels assumes no responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. It’s important to note that DHPL Travels acts as a distributor and not a publisher of these comments and responses. We have no obligation to verify the accuracy of the content.
