Our review scores are rated from 1 to 10, reflecting various aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. To calculate the overall score, we add up all the review scores and divide them by the total number of reviews we receive. It’s worth noting that each guest can independently submit their overall score and subscores. There is no direct link between them.
If you have booked and stayed at our accommodation or visited the property, even if you didn’t stay overnight, you are eligible to write a review. Should you wish to edit a review you have already submitted, simply reach out to our Customer Service team, and they will be happy to assist you.
At Sigiriya King’s Resort, we take fraudulent reviews seriously. We have dedicated experts and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we identify any suspicious activity, we promptly delete the reviews and, if necessary, take appropriate action against those responsible. Guidelines for Review Publication
Our aim is to publish both positive and negative reviews to provide a comprehensive view. However, to maintain the integrity of our platform, we have certain standards in place. We do not publish reviews that include or reference politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, or impersonation (i.e., if the writer claims to be someone else). Additionally, any violations of our review guidelines will not be posted.
To ensure the relevance and timeliness of reviews, we generally accept reviews submitted within 3 months of check-out. Reviews that are older than 36 months may no longer be displayed, or if the accommodation undergoes a change of ownership.

We emphasize the importance of genuine and unbiased content. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and truly reflect the guest’s experience. Additionally, we do not tolerate negative reviews submitted with the intention to harm the reputation of a competitor.
