Our review system provides an overall score based on the aggregated review scores. To calculate this score, we add up all the individual review scores and divide by the total number of reviews received. Guests have the option to provide separate scores for important aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s worth noting that the individual subscores and the overall score are independent of each other and are submitted separately.

Reviewing and Editing

If you have booked an accommodation through our platform and have stayed there, or if you have checked-in but didn’t actually stay, you can review the property. Should you need to edit a review you have already submitted, please get in touch with our Customer Service team who will gladly assist you.

Ensuring Authenticity

We take the authenticity of our reviews seriously at DHPL Travels. To maintain the integrity of our platform, we employ both human and automated systems to identify and remove any fake reviews. Rest assured that if we come across any suspicious activities, we promptly delete the reviews and take appropriate action against those responsible. We believe in transparency and encourage our users to report any suspicious reviews to our Customer Service team for further investigation by our dedicated fraud team.

Review Guidelines

At DHPL Travels, our goal is to provide a balanced representation of our users’ experiences. While we strive to publish all reviews, positive or negative, certain review content is not permitted. This includes politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.

Review Timeframe

To ensure the relevance of reviews, we generally accept submissions within 3 months of checking out. As time passes, reviews may no longer be displayed once they reach 36 months old or if there has been a change of ownership of the accommodation.

Accommodation Responses

At DHPL Travels, we encourage accommodations to respond to guest reviews. This allows for open communication and the opportunity to address any concerns or provide additional information.

Sorting and Filtering

When browsing through multiple reviews, we prioritize the most recent ones at the top, taking into account various factors such as language, whether it’s a rating or contains comments. Additionally, you have the option to sort and filter reviews based on time of year, review score, and more.

External Review Scores

For added insight, we may include external review scores from well-known travel websites. When we do include this information, we make it clear to our users.

Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

At DHPL Travels, our guidelines and standards ensure that the content on our platform remains relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression or strong opinions. These guidelines apply to all comments, regardless of tone.

  • Contributions should be travel-related and provide detailed insights that assist others in making informed decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed, and any issues regarding DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
  • Contributions should be suitable for a global audience. Please avoid the use of profanity or any attempts to disguise profanity using creative spelling in any language. Comments and media containing hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
  • All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. We expect contributions to reflect your personal experience. Accommodation partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Any attempt to diminish the reputation of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
  • Respect the privacy of others. At DHPL Travels, we prioritize the protection of individuals’ privacy. We make every effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
  • The opinions expressed in contributions belong solely to DHPL Travels customers and properties and do not represent the views of DHPL Travels. DHPL Travels accepts no responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. We operate as a distributor, not a publisher, and do not have an obligation to verify the accuracy of the comments and responses.
  • By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and other criteria to display the most relevant reviews. This includes factors such as language, reviews with textual comments, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available based on the type of traveler, review scores, and more.
