How We Calculate Review Scores
To ensure accuracy, each review score is based on a scale of 1 to 10. We calculate the overall score by summing up all the review scores received and dividing that total by the number of reviews. In addition, guests have the option to provide separate subscores for important categories such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that subscores and overall scores are submitted independently, with no direct link between them.
Reviewing Your Stay
We encourage guests to review the accommodations they have booked through our platform, whether they stayed there or simply visited the property. If you need to edit a review you’ve already submitted, please reach out to our dedicated Customer Service team who will be happy to assist you.
At DHPL Travels, we have advanced systems in place to detect and remove any fake reviews that may be submitted to our platform. Our team of experts works diligently to maintain the integrity of our reviews. However, we understand that even with our best efforts, some fake reviews may slip through the cracks. If you come across any suspicious content, we kindly ask you to report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can thoroughly investigate the matter.
Our Review Guidelines
To maintain the quality and relevance of our reviews, we have certain guidelines in place. While we aim to showcase both positive and negative reviews, we reserve the right not to display reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, references to violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.
Timeliness of Reviews
To ensure the freshness and relevance of our reviews, we generally accept reviews submitted within 3 months of checking out. As a general practice, we may stop displaying reviews that are older than 36 months or if there has been a change of ownership at the accommodation.
Accommodation Responses and Sorting
At DHPL Travels, we believe in fostering open and constructive communication. Accommodations have the opportunity to respond to reviews, allowing for a balanced and transparent dialogue between guests and property owners.
When viewing multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be prioritized. However, other factors such as language and the presence of comments may also influence the sorting order. You have the option to sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and more.

To ensure a global audience can engage with the content, we kindly request that you avoid the use of profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, regardless of the language used. Comments and media that contain hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or promote illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
All reviews should reflect genuine and unique experiences. We value original and unbiased contributions, and any attempts by property partners to post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews are strictly prohibited. We have a zero-tolerance policy for negative reviews that are submitted with the sole intention of bringing down a competitor’s rating.
To respect the privacy of all individuals, any personal contact information, website addresses, social media accounts, or similar details will be obscured by DHPL Travels.
