Each review score on DHPL Travels ranges from 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we aggregate all the review scores and divide the total by the number of reviews received. Guests have the option to provide separate subscores for essential aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that subscores and overall scores are independent of each other and are submitted separately.
If you have stayed at an accommodation booked through our platform, you can leave a review. Even if you didn’t stay at the property but visited it, you can still review it. In case you need to edit a review you have already submitted, please get in touch with our Customer Service team for assistance.
At DHPL Travels, we have a dedicated team of people and automated systems specializing in identifying and removing fake reviews from our platform. If any suspicious activity is spotted, we encourage users to report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate the matter.
We strive to publish all reviews, both positive and negative, ideally. However, there are certain criteria that result in a review not being displayed. These criteria include, but are not limited to:
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we generally accept reviews submitted within 3 months of checking out. Reviews that are over 36 months old may no longer be displayed, or if the accommodation has undergone a change of ownership.
Accommodations have the ability to respond to reviews, allowing for meaningful interaction between guests and property owners.
When multiple reviews are present, the most recent ones will be displayed on top, taking into account factors such as language and whether the review contains comments in addition to ratings. You can also sort and filter reviews based on various criteria like time of year and review score.
Occasionally, we may include external review scores from well-known travel websites. Rest assured, we always make it clear when this is the case.

These guidelines and standards are in place to ensure that the content on DHPL Travels remains relevant and suitable for all audiences, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They are applicable to all comments, irrespective of their tone.

Contributions should be related to travel. The most helpful contributions are detailed and provide insights to aid others in making informed decisions. Personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary should be avoided. Promotional content will be removed, and any issues related to DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.

Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please refrain from using profanity or attempting to mask profanity with creative spelling in any language. Comments or media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews hold the most value when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should reflect your personal experience. Property partners of DHPL Travels should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Any attempt to lower a competitor’s rating through a negative review will not be tolerated.

Respect the privacy of others. DHPL Travels strives to safeguard personal information. We will make every effort to obscure details such as email addresses, phone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar information.
