1. Capitol Hill Mansion Bed & Breakfast Inn (Denver, Colorado)

“Quaint” is the perfect word to describe this charming bed and breakfast.

Each room is named after a Colorado state wildflower and is individually decorated with antique furnishings that take you back in time.

The best part?

Certain suites — specifically the Pasque Flower Room, Shooting Star Balcony Room, and the Gold Banner Suite — have private whirlpools.

If you’re looking for hotels in Denver, Colorado with hot tubs, you won’t be disappointed.

Personally, I loved soaking on the deck, taking in the beauty of the night sky.

Bonus:

This Colorado bed and breakfast is in my favorite local neighborhood, Capitol Hill.

Here you can visit the Seattle Asian Art Museum, stroll the Washington Park Arboretum and savor a delicious brunch at Lala’s Wine Bar & Pizzeria, to name a few local experiences.

Other Colorado Hotels With Private Hot Tubs

8. Box Canyon Lodge & Hot Springs (Ouray, Colorado)

I stayed at this rustic lodge a few years ago and absolutely loved the redwood outdoor hot tubs.

While technically they’re not private to your room, during my three-night stay I had them all to myself every single time, especially at night under the stars.

Now, these aren’t just any hot tubs; but are filled with local hot spring water that’s great for circulation, pain relief, stress reduction and more.

In the tubs, you’ll be surrounded by lush nature through colorful gardens and views extending up the hillside up toward the mountain tops in the distance.

The lodge is located in the small mining town of Ouray; one of my favorite cities in Colorado.

Make sure to wander down Main Street to check out the local shops, many of which sell handmade goods.

Stop for a delicious “scrap cookie” — made with the previous day’s cookie scraps — at Mouse’s Chocolates & Coffee, and have a steak and local beer at The Outlaw, where you can also wear John Wayne’s cowboy hat.

Finally, don’t miss a 4×4 tour down the “Million Dollar Highway,” a gorgeous 25-mile stretch along Route 550.

9. The Hilltop Inn (Broomfield, Colorado)

This United Kingdom-themed bed-and-breakfast sits right between Boulder and Denver.

Stepping inside is like stepping across the pond and into Great Britain.

There’s even an onsite British Scotch pub serving dishes like beef wellington and scotch eggs alongside events like live Celtic music and whisky tastings.

Make sure to book one of their Jacuzzis, outfitted with a relaxing two-person Jacuzzi tub.

Pour yourself a glass of scotch and unwind in the bubbles after a day exploring the Butterfly Pavilion, hiking in the Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge and taking in mountain views along the accessible Flatirons Vista loop trail.

10. Inn at Lost Creek (Telluride, Colorado)

This luxury boutique property doesn’t skimp on experience.

First of all, their slopeside location means that in winter you can enjoy ski-in/ski-out access to the mountains, while warmer months allow you to hike right from the hotel.

In the morning, a buffet breakfast featuring dishes like smoked salmon and steel cut oats is included (for two).

Make sure to get a treatment in the onsite spa, and enjoy facilities like saunas, hot tubs, pools — even a water slide!

If you’d prefer to hot tub in private, all rooms include a jetted tub, and all (aside for the Studio Room) also include a steam shower.

Travel Insurance

While you hope everything runs smoothly, sometimes travel just doesn’t go according to plan.

This is why I recommend always purchasing travel insurance. The scary truth is it only takes one bad accident to lose everything — or be thankful you were covered.

Personally, I use SafetyWing, as they’ve got a large network, offer both short-term and long-term coverage (including limited coverage in your home country), are budget-friendly, and offer $250,000 worth of coverage with just one low overall deductible of $250.
