Understanding Review Scores and Subscores
When it comes to reviewing accommodations, each score provided by guests falls between 1 and 10. To derive the overall score, we calculate the sum of all the review scores and divide it by the total number of reviews received. Guests also have the option to rate specific areas such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and the availability of free WiFi. It’s important to note that guests provide their subscores and overall scores independently, with no direct link between them.
Reviewing Your Stay
If you’ve booked through our platform and stayed at the property, or even if you simply visited the premises without actually staying there, you can share your valuable feedback with us. In case you need to make any changes to a review you’ve already submitted, get in touch with our dedicated Customer Service team, who will gladly assist you.
Fighting Against Fake Reviews
We have a dedicated team of professionals and automated systems in place to detect and eliminate any fake reviews submitted to our platform. Should we come across any suspicious content, we promptly delete it and, if necessary, take appropriate action against the responsible parties. We encourage anyone who notices something irregular to report it to our Customer Service team. Our fraud team will investigate the matter promptly.
Our Review Publishing Process
Our ideal approach is to publish all reviews we receive, regardless of whether they are positive or negative. However, we do have guidelines in place, and as such, we refrain from displaying reviews that include or refer to the following:
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g., emails, phone numbers, credit card details)
- Offensive language, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Instances of animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e., when someone claims to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines
Relevance and Time Sensitivity
To ensure the reviews remain relevant, we accept submissions within 3 months of checking out. Additionally, we may stop displaying reviews once they’re 36 months old or if the accommodation undergoes a change in ownership.

Accommodations have the opportunity to respond to reviews, fostering a meaningful dialogue between guests and properties.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When perusing multiple reviews, the most recent ones will appear at the top, taking into account various factors such as language and whether the review includes comments in addition to a rating. To further assist you in finding the information you need, we offer sorting and filtering options based on the time of year, review score, and more.
External Review Scores
In certain instances, we may display external review scores from other reputable travel websites. Rest assured, we clearly indicate when this information is presented.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
Our review guidelines and standards focus on maintaining relevant and family-friendly content on behalf of DHPL Travels. We encourage contributions that are informative, detailed, and help fellow travelers make informed decisions. Kindly refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed, and any concerns related to DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Creating a Global Audience
As we cater to a diverse international audience, we kindly request that you avoid using profanity or attempting to cloak profanity through creative spelling, irrespective of the language employed. Comments and media that incorporate hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities will not be tolerated.
Genuine and Unique Contributions
We value authenticity, and genuinely unique reviews are highly appreciated. Unbiased and original contributions hold the greatest value. Property partners affiliated with DHPL Travels must refrain from posting on behalf of guests or offering incentives in exchange for reviews. Negative reviews submitted with the intention of lowering a competitor’s rating will not be tolerated.
We acknowledge and respect the privacy of all individuals. As such, we make every effort to conceal email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
