Each review is scored between 1 and 10. To calculate the overall score, we sum up all the review scores and divide by the total number of reviews received. Guests can also provide separate subscores for important aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. Guest subscores and overall scores are independent of each other.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or even if you visited the property without staying. If you need to edit a review you have already submitted, please reach out to our Customer Service team.
We have dedicated personnel and automated systems that specialize in identifying fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we detect any fraudulent reviews, we promptly delete them and take appropriate action against the responsible parties.
If anyone notices anything suspicious, we encourage them to report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can conduct a thorough investigation.
Ideally, we would like to publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we have a few guidelines that we follow and will not display reviews that include or reference the following:
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information such as emails, phone numbers, and credit card information
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines
To ensure that reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months after checking out. We may stop showing reviews that are older than 36 months or if the accommodation undergoes a change in ownership.
Accommodations have the option to respond to reviews.
When viewing multiple reviews, the most recent ones will appear at the top, taking into account various factors such as language and whether the review contains comments in addition to a rating. You also have the ability to sort and filter reviews by time of year, review score, and more.
Occasionally, we may display external review scores from other reputable travel websites. Rest assured, we will always make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards are in place to ensure that the content on DHPL Travels remains relevant and family-friendly, without limiting the expression of opinions. They apply regardless of the comment’s tone.
Contributions should be travel-related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and assist others in making better decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed, and any issues regarding DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be suitable for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempting to disguise profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that contain hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. When contributing, please ensure that your content reflects your personal experience. DHPL Travels’ property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate negative reviews submitted with the intention of sabotaging competitors’ ratings.
Respect the privacy of others. DHPL Travels will make every effort to conceal email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of DHPL Travels’ customers and properties, and not of DHPL Travels itself. DHPL Travels does not accept any responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. DHPL Travels functions as a distributor and does not have an obligation to verify the content. We are not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and other criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may also be available (such as by traveler type or score).
