How We Calculate Review Scores
Each review at Orchid Villa Kandy is rated on a scale of 1 to 10. To determine the overall score, we add up all the individual review scores and divide the total by the number of reviews received. Guests also have the option to provide separate subscores for important aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that these subscores and the overall score are submitted independently, with no direct connection between them.
Submitting and Editing Reviews
If you have booked accommodation through our platform and have stayed there, or even if you visited the property without actually staying, you can leave a review. Should you need to make changes to a review you have already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
Detecting and Managing Fake Reviews
At Orchid Villa Kandy, we have dedicated teams and automated systems in place to identify and remove fake reviews from our platform. If any fraudulent activity is detected, appropriate action will be taken against the responsible parties. We encourage our users to report any suspicious content to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can thoroughly investigate the matter.
Our Review Policy
While we strive to publish every review we receive, both positive and negative, there are certain types of content that we will not display. To ensure the relevance of reviews, we may only accept submissions within 3 months of the check-out date. Additionally, reviews older than 36 months may no longer be displayed, or in cases where the accommodation undergoes a change of ownership.
