Review Scores and Subscores
Every review we receive is carefully evaluated to provide you with an overall score for each accommodation. Our scoring system ranges from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest. To calculate the overall score, we sum up all the review scores and divide that total by the number of reviews received.
But we don’t stop there. We also encourage guests to provide separate subscores for crucial aspects, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. These subscores give you a more detailed understanding of each accommodation’s strengths and weaknesses.
To ensure transparency, guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently. There is no direct link between these two ratings. This approach enables us to present an unbiased evaluation of each accommodation.
Edit and Report
We value your thoughts and opinions. If you need to make changes or updates to a review you’ve already submitted, simply reach out to our dedicated Customer Service team. They will be more than happy to assist you.
Additionally, we have a team of experts and advanced automated systems in place to detect and remove any fake reviews that may be submitted to our platform. We take immediate action against those responsible for such fraudulent activities. Your trust and confidence are of utmost importance to us.
If you come across any suspicious reviews or questionable content, please don’t hesitate to report it to our Customer Service team. Our specialized fraud team will thoroughly investigate the matter.
Review Guidelines and Publication
We believe in transparency, and our goal is to showcase all reviews, whether positive or negative. However, to maintain the integrity of our platform, we have some guidelines in place. We do not display reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we accept submissions within three months of checking out. We may choose to stop displaying reviews that are older than 36 months or when the accommodation undergoes a change of ownership.
Accommodation Responses and Sorting
As part of our commitment to providing a well-rounded review experience, accommodations have the option to respond to guest reviews. This open line of communication allows them to address any feedback or concerns directly.
When browsing through multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be displayed at the top. Our sorting features allow you to further customize your experience by sorting and filtering reviews based on time of year, review score, and more.
