Reservations and Deposits
To ensure your preferred departure dates, we highly recommend making reservations as early as possible. For land-only bookings, a deposit of $250 per person is required at the time of booking. Custom group reservations require a deposit of $500 per person. The deposit requirements for cruise bookings will be specified by the cruise line. Please note that any airfares that require instant purchase are non-refundable. For other types of airfares, a deposit equal to the ticket price plus $250 per person may be required. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the departure date. Full payment is required for reservations made less than 60 days from departure. In the event of an error in calculating your package price, we reserve the right to adjust your reservation accordingly.
Cancellations
The tour operator reserves the right to cancel a tour up to ten (10) days before the departure date due to insufficient participants or any other reason. If the tour operator cancels the tour, you will receive a full refund within seven (7) days of the cancellation notice. If you need to cancel your participation, please do so in writing via email to [email protected]. Cancellation fees apply as follows:
- More than 60 days prior to departure: $275 per person plus any supplier fees imposed.
- 59-45 days prior to departure: $350 per person plus any supplier fees imposed.
- 44-31 days prior to departure: $500 per person plus any supplier fees imposed.
- Less than 30 days prior to departure: full tour price.
We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance to cover cancellations. Any special cancellation policies related to holidays, supplier requirements, or other factors will be provided at the time of booking.
Special Requests and Tour Participation
Special hotel and flight requests, such as seat assignments, room location, bed size, and meals, are accepted on a request basis but cannot be guaranteed. Please submit your requests in writing at least 45 days before departure. Children under 8 years old may not be accepted on some escorted tours. Handicapped participants or travelers requiring special assistance are welcome on all our tours, but they must be accompanied by a qualified and able person who will be responsible for their well-being. Please note that many European hotels and transportation services may not be wheelchair accessible. It is important to notify us of any special needs or requirements in advance. The tour operator reserves the right to reject any person as a tour participant or to expel any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the group’s interest. Any additional expenses resulting from such actions are the participant’s responsibility.
Visas and Late Bookings
Travelers are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas. If you require assistance, please contact our visa department by email. Late bookings made within 30 days of departure may incur special handling fees, which will be quoted at the time of booking.
Air Travel and Documentation
Please note that airline reservations are not included in your travel plans unless otherwise specified. It is your responsibility to make appropriate air arrangements and transportation to and from the travel origin and destination. MB Travel Tour is not liable for any air or ground schedule changes. We recommend checking in at least 2 hours prior to domestic flights and 3 hours prior to international flights for enhanced security measures. Flight times should be reconfirmed at least 24 hours before domestic flights and 72 hours before international flights. Failure to use a reservation may result in the cancellation of all continuing and return flights, as well as forfeiture of airfares.
Travel Insurance and Unused Arrangements
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against cancellations. Our tour prices are based on contracted rates, and we are unable to provide refunds for any unused portion of a tour. Some group tours have minimum passenger requirements, and if the number of passengers falls below the minimum, a surcharge may be imposed or the tour may be canceled. Please be aware that currency exchange rates fluctuate, and prices are subject to change based on these fluctuations.
Changes to Bookings and Health/Security Requirements
If you need to make changes to your confirmed arrangements before or during your trip, please notify us in writing. Administrative charges may apply based on your specific request and circumstances. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the necessary immunizations and required documentation for travel. We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider and checking relevant government websites for travel advisories and health requirements. MB Travel Tour is not responsible for the accuracy of health requirements or documentation. Please also familiarize yourself with airline and security regulations and carry appropriate identification.
Limitations of Responsibility
MB Travel Tour acts as a booking agent for various travel suppliers, such as cruise lines, hotels, and airlines. Each supplier is an independent entity, and their terms and conditions govern the services provided. MB Travel Tour is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or any other issues arising from these services. We are not responsible for any schedule changes or disruptions caused by force majeure events beyond our control. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for all trips.
Revised Policies for COVID-19
We understand the concerns regarding upcoming travel plans. Therefore, we have implemented revised cancellation and rebooking policies to provide flexibility and peace of mind. For trips between 7-30 days prior to departure, you have the option to:
- Rebook within 18 months after applying airline-assessed fees.
- Cancel your air ticket and rebook.
- Rebook a land-only reservation.
- Cancel all services.
Please note that specific terms and conditions apply to these options. We will work with your airline to reduce or remove change fees whenever possible. If you choose to keep the value of your air ticket, it is your responsibility to inform us when you are ready to book alternate flights.
For Custom Groups and Sea Cruises, standard terms and conditions apply.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during these uncertain times. The safety and well-being of our travelers remains our top priority.
