Understanding Review Scores and Subscores
At DHPL Travels, we value the opinions and experiences of our guests. When it comes to reviewing an accommodation, we use a scoring system that ranges from 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we aggregate all the review scores and divide the total by the number of reviews received. Moreover, guests have the opportunity to provide separate subscores for crucial aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s essential to note that subscores and overall scores are submitted independently and are not directly linked.
Reviewing Your Accommodation
If you have booked an accommodation through our platform and stayed there or even if you visited the property without actually staying, you can share your review. Should you wish to edit a review you have already submitted, please contact our dedicated Customer Service team, who will be more than happy to assist you.
Ensuring Authenticity: Our Anti-Fraud Measures
At DHPL Travels, we take the credibility of our reviews seriously. We employ both human and automated systems specifically designed to detect and remove any fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we identify any illegitimate content, we promptly delete it and, if necessary, take appropriate action against those responsible. We encourage our users to report any suspicious reviews to our Customer Service team, enabling our fraud experts to investigate the matter further.
Our Review Guidelines
While we strive to publish as many reviews as possible, it is important to maintain certain standards. Therefore, we reserve the right not to display reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, or impersonation. We strictly adhere to our review guidelines to ensure the relevancy and reliability of the reviews shown on our platform.
Time and Relevance
To maintain relevance, we generally accept reviews submitted within 3 months of checking out. Additionally, we may stop displaying reviews that are older than 36 months or if the accommodation has undergone a change of ownership. This ensures that our users receive up-to-date and accurate information about the accommodations listed on DHPL Travels.
Engaging with Reviews
At DHPL Travels, we encourage accommodations to engage with their guests by replying to reviews. This allows for open communication and provides an opportunity for further clarification or appreciation.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When scrolling through multiple reviews, the most recent ones will appear at the top, considering various factors such as language and whether it contains only ratings or also includes comments. You have the option to sort and filter reviews based on the time of the year, review score, and more, enabling you to find the most relevant information for your travel planning.
Maintaining Quality and Family-Friendly Content
Guidelines and standards ensure that the content featured on DHPL Travels remains relevant and suitable for all users. As such, we expect contributions to be travel-related and helpful in assisting others in making better decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary, as well as any form of promotional content. A Global Audience
To cater to our diverse user base, contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. We kindly request that you avoid using profanity or attempting to approximate it with creative spelling across all languages. Comments or media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or promote illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
Genuine and Unique Reviews
We value authentic and unbiased reviews that reflect the genuine experiences of our guests. Your contribution should be original and unbiased, representing your personal perspective. Accommodation partners affiliated with DHPL Travels are not permitted to post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate any attempts to undermine competitors by submitting negative reviews.
Respecting the privacy of others is of utmost importance at DHPL Travels. We make every effort to obscure personal details such as email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar information for the privacy and security of our users.
The opinions expressed in reviews belong to the customers and properties themselves and not to DHPL Travels. We do not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. As a distributor, we do not have an obligation to verify the reviews but strive to present the most relevant and reliable content to our users.
