The Essence of Review Scores
Each review score at Lake City Resort Anuradhapura falls between 1 and 10. To determine the overall score, we calculate the average by adding up all the review scores and dividing that total by the number of reviews received. Guests have the option to provide separate subscores for essential areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s worth noting that subscores and overall scores are independent of each other and do not have a direct correlation.
Submitting a Review
If you have booked accommodation through our platform and either stayed there or visited the property, you can share your thoughts and experiences by reviewing it. In case you want to make edits to a review you have already submitted, simply get in touch with our Customer Service team, and they will assist you.

If any fraudulent activities are identified, we take prompt action to remove the fake reviews and hold the responsible parties accountable. Our Review Guidelines
While we strive to publish every review we receive, positive or negative, we have certain criteria in place to ensure the authenticity and appropriateness of the content. We do not display reviews that include or reference politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.
Timeliness and Relevance
To maintain the relevance of reviews, we accept submissions within 3 months of checking out. Additionally, reviews that are 36 months old or pertain to accommodations with a change of ownership may no longer be displayed. We aim to provide the most up-to-date and helpful information to our users.

- All content should be genuine and unique to the guest, providing original and unbiased feedback.
- Booking.com property partners must refrain from posting on behalf of guests or offering incentives in exchange for reviews.
- Negative reviews submitted with the intention of damaging a competitor’s rating will not be tolerated.
- The privacy of others must be respected, and no personal contact information or social media details should be disclosed.
