How Our Review System Works
At Kanora Lake Resort, we utilize a comprehensive review scoring system to gather feedback from our guests. Each review score ranges from 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we aggregate all the review scores and divide the total by the number of reviews received.
Our guests have the option to provide separate subscores for crucial areas such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. These subscores and the overall scores are submitted independently and do not have a direct link between them.
Authenticity and Detection of Fake Reviews
We take the issue of fake reviews very seriously. To maintain the integrity of our review platform, we have a dedicated team of experts and automated systems that specialize in detecting and removing fake reviews. If we identify any fraudulent activities, we delete the reviews and, if necessary, take appropriate action against the responsible parties.
We encourage our guests to report any suspicious reviews to our Customer Service team. Our fraud team will investigate these reports thoroughly.
Review Criteria and Guidelines
While we strive to publish every review we receive, both positive and negative, there are certain criteria and guidelines that we adhere to. We do not display reviews that contain or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card information), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we generally accept reviews submitted within 3 months of checking out. Reviews may no longer be displayed if they are older than 36 months or if the accommodation undergoes a change of ownership.
Accommodations also have the option to reply to reviews, allowing them to address any concerns or express their appreciation for guest feedback.
Transparency and External Review Scores
At Kanora Lake Resort, we value transparency. Occasionally, we may display external review scores from well-known travel websites. However, we always make it clear when we include these scores.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
Our guidelines and standards aim to maintain the quality and family-friendly nature of content on our platform. These guidelines apply to all comments, regardless of tone, and focus on ensuring that contributions are travel-related, helpful, and appropriate for a global audience.
We ask our guests to refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary in their reviews. Promotional content will be removed, and any issues concerning our services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
We expect all reviews to be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Property partners of Kanora Lake Resort are not allowed to post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate attempts to bring down the rating of competitors through negative reviews.
Privacy and Translations Disclaimer
Respecting the privacy of others is essential to us. We make every effort to protect personal information, including email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, and social media accounts.
