A Comprehensive Review Scoring System
At DHPL Travels, we take pride in providing an extensive review scoring system for our valued guests. Our scoring system ranges from 1 to 10, allowing guests to express their opinions on various aspects of their stay. By aggregating all review scores and dividing the total by the number of reviews received, we calculate an overall score for the accommodation.
The Importance of Subscores
We understand that specific areas such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi play a crucial role in evaluating an accommodation. Hence, we encourage our guests to provide separate subscores for these categories. It’s worth noting that these subscores and the overall score are independent of each other and are submitted separately.
Genuine Reviews Only
At DHPL Travels, we have a dedicated team, both human and automated, that specializes in detecting fake reviews. If any suspicious activity is identified, we promptly delete those reviews and take necessary action against the responsible parties. We also rely on our vigilant guests to report any suspicious activity they come across so that our fraud team can investigate further.
Our Review Guidelines
We aspire to publish every review we receive, regardless of whether it is positive or negative. However, to maintain the quality and relevance of our reviews, we have certain guidelines in place. Here are a few things we do not publish in reviews:
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g., emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e., if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines
To ensure the reviews are recent and accurate, we accept reviews submitted within 3 months of checking out. Furthermore, to provide up-to-date information, we may stop displaying reviews that are more than 36 months old or if there has been a change in ownership of the accommodation.
An Accommodation’s Response
We believe in fostering open communication between guests and accommodations. That’s why we give accommodations the ability to respond to reviews, providing them with an opportunity to address any concerns or express appreciation for positive feedback.
Sorting and Filtering
When browsing through multiple reviews, we prioritize the most recent ones. However, other factors such as language and whether the review contains comments in addition to a rating also influence the order. To help you find the information you need quickly, you can sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and more.

Travel-Related Contributions: We value the most helpful contributions that provide detailed insights, helping others make informed decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Additionally, promotional content is not allowed, and any issues related to DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
A Global Audience: To accommodate our diverse audience, please avoid using profanity or attempting to bypass language filters with creative spelling. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit language, violence, or promote illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
Authenticity is Key: Genuine and unbiased reviews hold significant value to us. We appreciate original contributions that reflect the unique experiences of our guests. Property partners associated with DHPL Travels should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Negative reviews that aim to unfairly diminish the rating of a competitor will not be tolerated.
Respecting Privacy: DHPL Travels is committed to respecting the privacy of all individuals. Therefore, we make every effort to obscure personal details such as email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar information.
Guest Opinions: The opinions expressed in reviews are solely those of DHPL Travels customers and properties. They do not reflect the opinions of DHPL Travels itself. As a distributor, DHPL Travels does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. However, we make every effort to ensure that the comments and responses comply with our guidelines.
By default, reviews on our platform are sorted based on the review date and other relevant criteria, including language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may also be available based on the type of traveler or review score.
