Are you under eighteen (18) and is planning on reserving hotels in New York? Unfortunately, you will not be able to make the reservations yourself and will have to obtain a minor consent form directly from the hotel you plan to stay as you will be under their check-in age. The benefit of the consent form is that it helps students on Spring Break travel without a parent or guardian saving on travel costs. This form must then be notarized and submitted to the chosen hotel for your stay.

Are you visiting from outside of the United States? A parental consent form will also be required for the authorities to indicated that both birth parents or legal guardians are aware of your trip and permits you to travel. This step is to ensure that a guardian will not try to keep sole custody of a minor by sending them off to a foreign country.

The Millennium Broadway Hotel now has a minimum check-in age of 21 years old and is located in the vicinity of Bryant Park, Times Square, and the Port Authority Bus Terminal. By walking fifteen (15) blocks (3/4 mile) one can be at Central Park that is visited by locals and visitors of New York. It’s lacking a few “water amenities” which romantic couples may need but is much closer to Times Square than the Millennium UN Plaza (18+ Policy) and is cheaper and further away.
