Each review on our platform is assigned a score between 1 and 10. To calculate the overall score, we aggregate all the review scores and divide the total by the number of reviews received. Guests have the option to provide separate scores for important aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that the subscores and overall scores are submitted independently and are not directly linked.
If you have booked accommodation through our platform and stayed at the property or even visited it without staying, you can submit a review. If you need to edit a review that you have already submitted, simply reach out to our Customer Service team.
To ensure the integrity of our platform, we have a team of experts and automated systems in place to identify and remove fake reviews. If any fake reviews are discovered, appropriate action will be taken against the responsible party. We encourage our users to report any suspicious content to our Customer Service team for further investigation by our fraud team.
In an ideal scenario, we would publish every review we receive, regardless of whether it’s positive or negative. However, there are certain types of content that we do not display, including politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, credit card details), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, references to violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of the checkout date. Reviews may cease to be displayed after 36 months or if the accommodation undergoes a change in ownership.
Accommodations have the option to respond to reviews, providing an opportunity to address any concerns or feedback.
When multiple reviews are available, the most recent ones are positioned at the top, taking into account various factors such as language and whether the review contains comments in addition to a rating. You can sort and filter the reviews based on the time of year, review score, and other criteria.
Occasionally, we may display external review scores from well-known travel websites, but we always clearly indicate when we do so.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
Our guidelines and standards are designed to maintain relevant and family-friendly content on DHPL Travels, while allowing freedom of expression and diverse opinions. These guidelines apply regardless of the tone of the comments.
Contributions should pertain to travel. The most helpful contributions are detailed and assist others in making informed decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed, and issues with DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be suitable for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempting to mask profanity with creative spelling, regardless of the language used. Comments and media that contain hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit language, violence, or promote illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
All content should be genuine and original. Reviews hold the most value when they are authentic and unbiased. Your contribution should reflect your personal experience. DHPL Travels’ property partners are not allowed to post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We will not tolerate attempts to undermine competitors by submitting negative reviews.
Respect the privacy of others. DHPL Travels strives to ensure the privacy of all individuals. We will make every effort to conceal personal information such as email addresses, phone numbers, website links, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions belong to DHPL Travels’ customers and properties, not DHPL Travels itself. DHPL Travels is a distributor, not a publisher, of these comments and responses. Consequently, nor does it assume responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. DHPL Travels disclaims any warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of translations or any other content.
By default, reviews are sorted based on their date and other relevant criteria, including language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available such as by type of traveler or by score.
