That’s why we have implemented a comprehensive review system that ensures the authenticity and credibility of guest feedback.
How Our Review System Works
Each review score on our platform is based on a scale of 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we accumulate all the review scores and divide them by the total number of reviews received. We also give guests the opportunity to provide separate subscores in essential categories such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. These subscores are independent of the overall rating, allowing guests to offer more nuanced feedback.
You can submit a review for any accommodation you booked through our platform, whether you stayed there or just visited the property. If you ever need to edit a review you’ve already submitted, our dedicated Customer Service team is here to assist you.
Ensuring Authenticity
At DHPL Travels, we take the issue of fake reviews seriously. We have a team of experts and automated systems dedicated to detecting and removing any fraudulent content. If you come across anything suspicious, please report it to our Customer Service team, and our fraud team will thoroughly investigate the matter.
What We Don’t Publish
While we strive to publish every review we receive, there are certain guidelines we follow to maintain the integrity and relevance of the content. We do not display reviews that include or reference politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.
To ensure the reviews remain relevant, we accept submissions only within three months of the check-out date. Additionally, reviews may no longer be displayed once they are 36 months old or if the accommodation undergoes a change of ownership.
Engaging with Reviews
We believe in fostering communication between guests and accommodations. Therefore, accommodations have the option to reply to reviews, allowing for open dialogue and addressing any concerns or praises.
When you browse through multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be displayed prominently. Other factors, such as language usage and whether the review contains comments, are also taken into consideration. To make your review search easier, you can sort and filter them by the time of year, review score, and other parameters.
Transparent External Reviews
In some cases, we show external review scores from well-known travel websites. When we do this, we make it clear that these are external sources. Our aim is to provide you with a comprehensive overview while maintaining transparency.

Our guidelines and standards are designed to keep the content on DHPL Travels relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. Here’s what we expect from our contributors:
- Contributions should be travel-related and provide detailed insights to help others make informed decisions.
- Please avoid including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary in your reviews.
- Maintain a global perspective by refraining from profanity or creative attempts to approximate it in any language.
- Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, and the promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
- All content should be genuine and unique to your personal experience. We value original and unbiased contributions.
- Our property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We are committed to fair competition.
- Respect the privacy of others. We will do our best to protect sensitive information.
