Understanding Review Scores and Subscores
At DHPL Travels, we take guest reviews seriously. Each review score is rated between 1 and 10. To calculate the overall score, we aggregate all the review scores and divide the total by the number of reviews. Guests have the option to provide separate subscores in important areas such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. Subscores and overall scores are submitted independently and are not directly linked.
Reviewing Your Accommodation
If you have booked accommodation through our platform and stayed at the property, you can leave a review. Additionally, if you visited the property without actually staying, you can still share your experience. If you need to edit a review you have already submitted, please reach out to our Customer Service team for assistance.
Detecting and Addressing Fake Reviews
Ensuring the authenticity of reviews is our priority. Our dedicated team, along with automated systems, specialize in identifying and removing fake reviews from our platform. If we come across any fraudulent reviews, we promptly delete them and take appropriate action against the responsible parties. We encourage our users to report any suspicious activity to our Customer Service team, so our fraud experts can investigate further.
Review Guidelines and Content Standards
We value both positive and negative feedback, but we have certain guidelines to maintain the quality and relevance of reviews. Reviews that include politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam and fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines will not be displayed.
Timeliness and Relevancy of Reviews
To ensure the reviews are up-to-date and relevant, we accept submissions within 3 months of check-out. Reviews that are older than 36 months may no longer be displayed, or if there has been a change in ownership of the accommodation.
Accommodation’s Response to Reviews
Green Edge Villa has the option to reply to guest reviews. This allows for constructive dialogue and an opportunity for the accommodation to address any concerns or acknowledge positive feedback.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When multiple reviews are available, the most recent ones are displayed first. However, other factors, such as language, whether the review includes comments or just a rating, may also influence the order. To further customize your review browsing experience, you can sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and more.
External Review Scores
Occasionally, we may include external review scores from well-known travel websites. Rest assured that we clearly indicate when such scores are presented.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
We adhere to strict guidelines and standards to ensure the content on DHPL Travels remains relevant and family-friendly, while encouraging freedom of expression and diverse opinions. Contributions should primarily focus on travel-related experiences. We appreciate detailed and helpful reviews that assist others in making informed decisions. Personal, political, ethical, and religious commentary should be avoided. Promotional content will be removed, and any concerns about DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Respect and Authenticity
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Profanity or attempts to mask profanity with creative spelling are not permitted in any language. Hate speech, discriminatory comments, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited. We value genuine and unique content that reflects the guest’s own experience. Property partners associated with DHPL Travels should refrain from posting on behalf of guests or offering incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate negative reviews submitted with the intention of undermining competitors.
Privacy and Responsibility
We respect the privacy of our users. DHPL Travels takes precautions to conceal personal details such as email addresses, phone numbers, website addresses, and social media accounts in order to protect your privacy. The opinions expressed in reviews are those of DHPL Travels’ customers and properties. They do not necessarily reflect the views of DHPL Travels. DHPL Travels assumes no responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. We act as a distributor and do not verify the content, serving solely as a platform for comments and responses.
