How Review Scores are Calculated
Each review score on our platform ranges from 1 to 10. To determine the overall score, we aggregate all the individual review scores and divide that total by the number of reviews received. Guests have the opportunity to provide separate subscores for crucial aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that subscores and overall scores are submitted independently, without any direct link between them.
Reviewing an Accommodation
If you have booked accommodation through DHPL Travels and stayed at the property, or even if you visited the property without staying, you can review it on our platform. If you need to edit a review you have already submitted, simply reach out to our Customer Service team, and they will assist you.
Detection of Fake Reviews
We have a dedicated team of professionals and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews. If we come across any suspicious reviews, we promptly delete them and, if necessary, take appropriate action against the responsible parties. We encourage our users to report any suspicious content to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can thoroughly investigate.
Review Guidelines
We value all feedback, whether positive or negative, and strive to publish as many reviews as possible. However, we do have certain guidelines in place to ensure the relevance and appropriateness of the reviews. We do not display reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.
Review Timeframe
To maintain the relevance of reviews, we generally accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. Reviews that are older than 36 months or accommodations that undergo a change in ownership may no longer be displayed.
Accommodation Responses
At DHPL Travels, we believe in fostering open communication between guests and accommodations. Hence, accommodations have the option to reply to reviews.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When multiple reviews are available, we prioritize the most recent ones at the top. However, additional factors such as language and whether the review includes comments or is solely a rating may also influence the sorting. To facilitate your search, you can sort and filter reviews by the time of year, review score, and other criteria.
External Review Scores
Occasionally, we may display external review scores from well-known travel websites. Rest assured, we will always make it clear when we do so.
