Review Scoring and Subscores
At Filitheyo Island Resort, we use a comprehensive review scoring system to provide an overall assessment of our guests’ experiences. Each review score ranges from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest rating. To calculate the overall score, we aggregate all the review scores and divide the total by the number of review scores received.
Furthermore, our guests have the option to provide separate subscores for crucial areas such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. These subscores are submitted independently from the overall score, and there is no direct link between them.
Reviewing Your Stay
We encourage guests to share their feedback on their accommodation experience through our platform. Whether you actually stayed at the property or simply visited, we value your opinion. If you need to make any changes to a review you have already submitted, please reach out to our Customer Service team for assistance.
Detecting and Addressing Fake Reviews
At Filitheyo Island Resort, we have dedicated teams and automated systems in place to identify and address any fraudulent reviews submitted to our platform. If we come across any fake reviews, we promptly delete them and take appropriate action against those responsible. We appreciate our guests’ vigilance in reporting any suspicious content to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate further.
Review Publication Guidelines
Our aim is to publish all reviews we receive, both positive and negative. However, we do have certain criteria that reviews must meet to ensure their relevancy and appropriateness. We do not display reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card information), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.
To maintain the integrity and relevance of reviews, we only accept submissions that are within 3 months of the check-out date. Additionally, if a review is older than 36 months or if there has been a change in ownership of the accommodation, we may stop displaying it.
Accommodation Responses and Review Sorting
As part of our commitment to transparent communication, accommodations have the option to respond to reviews. This provides an opportunity for them to address any feedback or concerns raised by our guests.
When there are multiple reviews, we prioritize the most recent ones, considering various factors such as language and whether the review includes additional comments or is solely a rating. Guests can sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and other relevant criteria.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Travel-related Contributions: Reviews should focus on travel experiences and be detailed enough to help other travelers make informed decisions. We kindly request that you avoid including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Any promotional content will be removed, and if you have any concerns or issues regarding Booking.com’s services, please direct them to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Suitability for a Global Audience: To ensure that our platform remains inclusive and accessible to everyone, we kindly ask guests to refrain from using profanity or attempting to circumvent profanity filters with creative spelling in any language. We do not tolerate comments or media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities.
Genuine and Unique Contributions: We value original and unbiased reviews as they provide the most valuable insights for our guests. Your contribution should reflect your personal experience and opinions, without any influence from Booking.com property partners. We strictly prohibit any attempts to manipulate ratings by submitting negative reviews aimed at degrading a competitor’s reputation.
Respecting Privacy: At Filitheyo Island Resort, we prioritize the privacy of our guests. Therefore, we make every effort to obscure personal details such as email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar information.
Opinions Expressed: The opinions expressed in reviews and responses belong solely to our customers and properties, not to Booking.com. Booking.com assumes no responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses provided by guests. As a platform, we act as a distributor and do not undertake any obligation to verify the accuracy, reliability, or legality of the content.
