Review Scores and Subscores

To determine the overall score of a hotel, we collect review scores from guests. Each score is between 1 and 10. We calculate the overall score by adding up all the review scores and dividing the total by the number of reviews received. Additionally, guests have the option to provide separate subscores for various important aspects such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. Please note that there is no direct link between the subscores and the overall score.

Reviewing Your Accommodation

If you have booked accommodation through our platform and stayed there, we encourage you to leave a review. However, even if you didn’t actually stay at the property but visited it, you can still share your feedback. If you need to make any changes to a review you have already submitted, simply reach out to our Customer Service team for assistance.

Detecting and Handling Fake Reviews

We take the authenticity of reviews very seriously. That’s why we have dedicated people and advanced automated systems in place to detect any fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we identify any fraudulent reviews, we promptly remove them and take appropriate action against those responsible. We encourage our users to report any suspicious activity to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate thoroughly.

Review Publication Guidelines

While we value all feedback, we cannot display reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines.

To ensure the relevance of reviews, we accept submissions that are made within 3 months of checking out. We may stop displaying reviews that are older than 36 months or if the property undergoes a change of ownership.

Property partners affiliated with DHPL Travels are not allowed to post on behalf of guests or offer incentives for reviews.
