Understanding the Review Scoring System
At DHPL Travels, we value your feedback and want to provide you with the best possible experience. That’s why we have a comprehensive review scoring system in place. Each review score ranges from 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we tally up all the review scores received and divide that total by the number of reviews.
Guests have the opportunity to provide separate subscores for essential aspects, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently – there is no direct link between them.
Authentic Reviews Matter
We take the authenticity of reviews seriously. You can review an accommodation you booked through our platform, whether you stayed there or simply visited the property. If you need to make any changes to a review you’ve already submitted, our Customer Service team is here to assist you.
Rest assured, our dedicated team, along with advanced automated systems, is constantly on the lookout for fake reviews. Should we detect any, we promptly remove them and take appropriate action against those responsible. If you come across anything suspicious, we encourage you to report it to our Customer Service team. Our fraud experts will swiftly investigate the matter.
Review Guidelines for Publication
Our aim is to publish a wide range of reviews, both positive and negative. However, there are certain criteria we adhere to when selecting reviews for display. We will not publish reviews that include or refer to politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violations of our review guidelines.
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we generally accept submissions made within 3 months of checking out. Additionally, reviews may no longer be displayed if they are older than 36 months or if the accommodation undergoes a change in ownership.
Engaging with Reviews
We believe in fostering communication and transparency. Accommodations have the ability to reply to reviews, facilitating an open dialogue between guests and property managers. This allows for a better understanding of expectations and helps us improve the overall experience for everyone.
Making Sense of Multiple Reviews
When multiple reviews are available, we prioritize the most recent ones. However, other factors, such as language and the inclusion of comments alongside ratings, also play a role. For your convenience, you can sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and more.
Occasionally, we may showcase external review scores from other reputable travel websites. Rest assured, when we do this, we make it clear to our users.
Upholding Guidelines and Standards
At DHPL Travels, we maintain high standards to ensure quality and relevance. Our guidelines and standards are designed to keep the content on our platform family-friendly and informative, without stifling expression or strong opinions. These standards apply to every comment, regardless of its tone.
To maintain the travel-centric nature of contributions, we kindly request that you refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Additionally, promotional content will be removed, and any concerns related to DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our dedicated Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
A Global Audience
We strive to create a welcoming environment for our global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempting to circumvent our guidelines by using creative spelling techniques in any language. Comments and media that contain hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
Keeping it Genuine and Unique
We highly value the authenticity of every review. Genuine and unbiased reviews provide immense value to both potential guests and property partners. We encourage you to share your unique experiences and opinions. Property partners affiliated with DHPL Travels should refrain from posting on behalf of guests or offering incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate attempts to sabotage a competitor’s reputation by submitting negative reviews.
Respecting the privacy of others is of utmost importance to us at DHPL Travels. We make every effort to protect personal information by obscuring email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The opinions expressed in reviews are solely those of our valued customers and properties. They do not necessarily reflect the opinions or views of DHPL Travels. As a distributor, DHPL Travels is not responsible for any reviews or responses. We do not verify the accuracy of reviews and comments as they are posted by customers and properties themselves.
