Introduction
When it comes to reviewing accommodations on our platform, each review score is on a scale of 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we take the sum of all review scores and divide it by the total number of review scores received. Guests have the option to provide separate subscores for crucial categories such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. These subscores and the overall score are submitted independently without a direct link between them.
Writing Reviews
If you have booked an accommodation through our platform and stayed there, or even if you visited the property but did not stay overnight, you can write a review. If you need to edit a review you have already submitted, simply contact our Customer Service team and they will assist you.
Detecting Fake Reviews
We have a dedicated team of professionals and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we identify any fake reviews, we promptly remove them and take appropriate action against those responsible. We also encourage our users to report any suspicious activity to our Customer Service team, so that our fraud team can conduct a thorough investigation.
Review Guidelines
At DHPL Travels, our goal is to publish as many reviews as possible, both positive and negative. However, there are certain types of content that we do not display. These include politically sensitive comments, promotional content, references to illegal activities, personal or sensitive information such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, and any violation of our review guidelines.
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we generally accept reviews submitted within 3 months of the check-out date. Additionally, we may stop showing reviews that are older than 36 months or in cases where the accommodation undergoes a change of ownership.
Accommodation Responses
Accommodations have the option to reply to reviews left by guests. This provides an opportunity for them to address any concerns or express their appreciation for positive feedback.
Sorting and Filtering Reviews
When multiple reviews are available, the most recent ones will appear at the top, taking into consideration various factors such as language, the inclusion of comments along with the rating, and more. Our platform allows users to sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and other relevant criteria.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
At DHPL Travels, we strive to maintain high standards for our reviews. These guidelines are in place to ensure that the content remains relevant and family-friendly, while still allowing for freedom of expression and diverse opinions. It is important to note that these guidelines apply to all comments, regardless of their tone.
- Contributions should be related to travel experiences. The most helpful reviews are detailed and assist others in making informed decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed, and any issues regarding DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
- Contributions should be suitable for a global audience. We kindly request that you avoid using profanity or attempting to bypass language filters with creative spelling. Comments or media that contain hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
- All content should be genuine and unique to the reviewer. Reviews hold the most value when they are original and unbiased. Your review should reflect your personal experience. DHPL Travels’ property partners are not allowed to post on behalf of guests or offer any incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate attempts to manipulate ratings by submitting negative reviews about competitors.
- Respect the privacy of others. DHPL Travels is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals. We will make every effort to remove or obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details from reviews and other related content.
- The opinions expressed in reviews are solely those of DHPL Travels customers and properties. They do not represent the views or opinions of DHPL Travels. As a platform, DHPL Travels acts as a distributor and does not assume any responsibility or liability for reviews or responses. DHPL Travels is not a publisher of these comments and responses and has no obligation to verify their accuracy.
