Understanding Review Scores
To determine the overall score of an accommodation, we collect individual review scores and calculate the average. Each review score ranges from 1 to 10. Guests have the option to provide separate subscores for essential categories such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that subscores and overall scores are submitted independently without any direct correlation between them.
Reviewing Accommodations
If you have booked and stayed at an accommodation through our platform, you can leave a review. Even if you visited the property but didn’t actually stay there, you can still provide your feedback. In case you need to edit a review you have already submitted, simply reach out to our Customer Service team for assistance.
Our Commitment to Authenticity
We employ a combination of dedicated personnel and advanced automated systems designed to identify and eliminate any fraudulent reviews on our platform. If we detect any suspicious activity, we promptly delete the fake reviews and take appropriate action against those responsible. We also encourage our users to report any suspicious content to our Customer Service team, allowing our fraud experts to conduct thorough investigations.
Review Guidelines
We value transparency and aim to publish both positive and negative reviews. However, certain types of content are not permitted. Reviews containing politically sensitive comments, promotional material, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details, swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violations of our review guidelines will not be displayed.
To ensure relevance, we generally accept reviews submitted within 3 months of checkout. Over time, as reviews become 36 months old or if the accommodation undergoes a change of ownership, we may choose to stop displaying them.
Accommodation Responses and Sorting
Accommodations have the ability to respond to reviews. When multiple reviews are available, the most recent ones will appear at the top, taking into account various factors such as language and whether the review contains comments along with a rating. You also have the option to sort and filter reviews based on the time of year, review score, and other relevant criteria.
At times, we may display external review scores from well-known travel websites, ensuring clear distinction when utilizing such information.

Genuine and Unique Content: The authenticity and impartiality of reviews are highly valued. Share your original and unbiased experiences. Property partners affiliated with Booking.com should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate attempts to lower a competitor’s rating through negative reviews.
