Each review score at Amari Galle Hotel ranges from 1 to 10. To calculate the overall score, we tally up all the review scores and divide that total by the number of review scores received. Guests have the option to give separate subscores in crucial areas such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. It’s important to note that there is no direct connection between the subscores and the overall scores.
If you have booked an accommodation through our platform, you can write a review for it, whether you stayed there or simply visited the property. If you need to modify a review you’ve already submitted, please reach out to our Customer Service team.
At Amari Galle Hotel, we have both human experts and automated systems dedicated to identifying and removing fake reviews from our platform. If we come across any fraudulent reviews, we delete them and take appropriate action against the responsible parties. We encourage our users to report any suspicious activity to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can thoroughly investigate.
In an ideal scenario, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we have certain criteria that determine which reviews we display. Reviews that contain politically sensitive comments, promotional content, illegal activities, personal or sensitive information (such as emails, phone numbers, or credit card details), swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, violence, spam, fake content, animal cruelty, impersonation, or any violation of our review guidelines will not be showcased.
To ensure the relevance of reviews, we generally accept submissions within 3 months of the checkout date. Reviews that are 36 months old or belong to accommodations under new ownership may no longer be displayed.
Accommodations have the ability to respond to reviews they receive. This allows both guests and property owners to engage in meaningful dialogue.
When browsing through multiple reviews, the most recent ones will appear at the top, while other factors such as language and the presence of comments alongside ratings may influence the order. You can sort and filter reviews based on various criteria, including the time of year and the review score.
Occasionally, we may present external review scores from reputable travel websites. Rest assured, we clearly indicate when this information is provided.

Our guidelines and standards aim to maintain relevant and family-friendly content on DHPL Travels. We value freedom of expression and diverse opinions, while also prioritizing the tone of the comments.
Contributions should revolve around travel. Detailed and informative contributions assist others in making better decisions. Please refrain from including personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed, and any concerns related to DHPL Travels’ services should be directed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be suitable for a global audience. We kindly request that you avoid using profanity or engaging in creative spelling that attempts to bypass profanity filters, regardless of the language used. Comments and media containing hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit content, violence, or the promotion of illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
All content should be genuine and unique to the individual. Reviews are most valuable when they provide original and unbiased perspectives. Your contribution should reflect your personal experience. DHPL Travels’ property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. We do not tolerate attempts to manipulate ratings by submitting negative reviews about competitors.
Respect the privacy of others. DHPL Travels makes every effort to protect the privacy of individuals by obscuring email addresses, phone numbers, website links, social media accounts, and similar details.
